# a little about me I grew up in the pacific northwest of the USA, left for a decade, and then returned. I went to school in the bay area where I received my degree in mathematical economics. I also lived and worked in San Francisco, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo. My time spent living abroad greatly influenced my design philosophy. I have worked at a few big companies - Intel, Salesforce, Cisco. I have also been self-employed and I have worked at a few startups. All of my professional experience is has been within the software industry, but I have held many positions: sales engineering, product management, product marketing, software engineering, and design. Other than my professional and intellectual pursuits that I write about here, I like to run, play trivia, take pictures, and watch reality TV with my girlfriend and our two cats. ## my portfolio & resume I am not looking for work currently.
